It's possible to get an EV without conflict minerals (see Batteries page) but they're hard to come by:​​

​

  • 2022 and 2023 Tesla models 3 & Y (standard range) had LFP batteries.  You can buy one used.

  • ​

  • Ford has LFP batteries in “standard range Mach-E's … in limited numbers”.  Ask your car broker or dealer.
